How To Search NRC Assam Final Result 2017 Voter List

Welcome everyone. Today GWavy Tech is going to show you the process and steps of how to download and search the final NRC Legacy data. 
1What is Legacy Data?The documents namely 1951 NRC (National Register of Citizens) and Electoral Rolls upto midnight of 24th March, 1971 are collectively called as the Legacy Data. 

2. What is the importance of Legacy Data?Legacy Data document is the database of that period which would be carrying the names of a very large number of persons together, admissible to prove the claim for inclusion in NRC updated for the state of Assam. One has to adduce the proof of residence in Assam of himself/herself or his/her ancestors prior to midnight of 24th March, 1971 for inclusion in NRC. As such the probability of finding one’s name or that of the ancestors would be very high here. This would be the most commonly used document.

1) Legacy Data Publication
2) Issuance of Application Form
3) Receipt of Application
4) Field Verification
5) Publication of Draft NRC
6) Receipt & Disposal of Claims & Objections
7) Publication of Final NRC
Please go through the steps as follows...

1. On the browser address bar type http://www.nrcassam.nic.in . It will take you to the NRC homepage.





















2. Now you will find various information regarding NRC. Go to the 'Legacy Data Search' link and click it, where you will redirected into the Legacy Data search page.




















3. Here comes the legacy data search page where you can put all your necessary information to find your legacy data.

















Now all you need to fill up is

1) Select language – English / অসমীয়া / বাংলা.
2) Now Select your Gender.
3) Now select your district.
4) Enter your first name and last name.
5) Now Enter your voter ID Sl no.
7) And enter your voter age.
8) Then click on search.
9) The results will appear on next page , Find out what you searching for and click on it.
10) That’s It.. On next page you can download the file over their or you can print out the file.
